Central European Master Rights Framework
Authoritative status of the DAZN DACH broadcast agreement
In February 2026, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and DAZN officially announced a long-term master agreement:
- DACH Master Rights: DAZN retains exclusive primary live rights for PDC tournaments across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through at least 2031.
- German Sub-Licensing Separation: While DAZN sub-licensed selected free-to-air events in Germany (with SPORT1 covering the 2026/27 World Championship as its final event before ProSiebenSat.1 takes over from 2027/28), free-to-air rights from Germany must not be generalized or assumed for Austria or Switzerland.
